Decimals

Decimals are another way to represent dfrac (tenths, hundredths, etc.). For addition or subtraction, align the decimal points. To multiply, ignore the decimal, multiply as integers, then place the decimal point in the result (total decimal places equal the sum of decimal places in factors).
Convert between decimals and fractions: e.g. 0.75 = \(\dfrac{3}{4}\). Terminating decimals have finite digits, recurring decimals repeat a pattern.
